Virginia recently became on of the states to implement a voter ID law. Fortunately, this is NOT a photo ID law, meaning you do not have to have a photo ID to vote until the 2014 election. However, you must bring a form of ID that meets Virginia requirements in order to vote. The State Board of Elections has created a chart to show you what you can use as ID on Election Day. The most important thing to remember is that if you have your Virginia voter registration card, you can vote. The voter registration card meets both state and federal ID requirements.
