About the Petersburg Chapter

The Petersburg Virginia Organizing chapter works on a variety of local, state and national issues. The chapter works on immigration reform and health care reform. Virginia Organiznig Petersburg also works on restoring voting rights for former felons and registers voters locally. The chapter is also engaged in education and outreach around state budget and tax reform.

Virginia Organizing is a statewide grassroots organization that brings people together to create a more just Virginia. Virginia Organizing especially encourages the participation of those who have traditionally had little or no voice in our society.
