During this workshop, people of different races and ethnic backgrounds will have the opportunity to reflect on personal experiences, discuss issues, explore theories in anti-racism work, and focus on how to make changes within their organizations and communities. This is an opportunity to talk in an open, racially mixed, and safe setting about racism, white privilege, and internalized oppression as it exists in our communities while developing action plans to further the work we are all doing to dismantle racism right here in Roanoke and across the New River Valley.
