Virginia Organizing Holds Rally to Call on U.S. Senators to Protect Health Care and Stop Budget Cuts

Charlottesville, Va.—Virginia Organizing held a rally at the corner of McIntire Road and Preston Avenue on Tuesday, June 20 at 5:30 p.m. to call on our U.S. Senators, Mark Warner and Tim Kaine, to protect health care and to stop the proposed federal budget cuts. The rally was attended by more than 75 people and included speeches by a group of leaders concerned about several different budget topics including health care, education, the environment, the arts, and transportation.
